Overview
ArangoDB is an open-source, highly scalable Graph Database with Multi-Model capabilities. In addition to graph, it is natively supporting a number of data-models, including Document and Key-Value as well as Full-Text Search and Retrieval. It serves as the scalable backbone for Graph-Analytics and complex data architectures across many different industries. Developers can build high-performance applications using a convenient SQL-like query language or JavaScript extensions. Oh, and did we mention it is open source?
Our goal is to make working with data easy. And because we want to make it simpler for others, we work on solving complex problems. We are looking for a Technical Account Manager in European timezones with experience with databases and/or data processing. Ideally, you also have experience (or curiosity) in Graph Analytics and Machine Learning.
Your Role:
- You are the liaison between our most valued customers and the ArangoDB team
- You provide Product Management, Engineering, and others with regular feedback regarding customer demands and trends
- You advocate and educate use cases and features to customers with presentations and high-level demonstration
- You solve technical problems of our clients with the best solution for the client in mind
- You expand existing use cases
Your Skills:
- 2+ years of experience with systems and application design
- Knowledge of (NoSQL) databases and distributed systems
- Previous graph database experience is a plus
- Excellent communication and technical skills to develop and maintain customer relationships
Location:
Our headquarter is in San Francisco (US) and we have an office in Cologne (Germany), but most of our diverse team works remotely worldwide. So, do you prefer your desk at home or do you want to join us at one of our locations? Your choice.
All candidates in European timezones will be considered. This is a permanent working-from-home role. Availability to travel is required.
